Zinzi de Brouwer is a fashion narrator with a focus on creative storytelling and forecasting. She operates as a spokesperson and connects people, products and places through interdisciplinary fields and building bridges, placing value on co-creation. Her work ranges from concept creation to bringing brands and stories to life through inspiring words and imagery from concepts to tangibles. Always with the highest regard for the people behind the products.
Zinzi de Brouwer has taught Fashion classes in the first Bachelor of Design in Maputo (Instituto de Arte e Cultura), and continues to give lectures on Africa as a relevant consumer market, as well as storytelling techniques for the creative industry in universities and colloquies world-wide. She co-founded Stories of Near in 2015, the first trend forecasting studio dedicated to the African continent as an emerging market. In 2016 she founded PALHA, a co-working atelier in Mozambique empowering the artisanal women through design and craft exchanges. In 2018 she joined the Fashion Professorship of ArtEZ (Institute of the Arts), The Netherlands. She has a fervent desire to contribute to an inclusive and diverse fashion industry.
